One of my own unique designs. This distinctive piece comes from a windfall Elm tree in our own ‘Noggin’ wood. It is made from 5 individual turned pieces plus the bauble in the top. It has some decorative spalted patterning, scorched, natural and split edges (splits are formed when the tree falls and breaks along the grain revealing its unique texture and shape). The bauble can be removed (as shown in photos) to create a vase for dried flowers.

Colour has been added using wood dyes. Finished with Danish Oil.
